Michael Kessler

Michael Kessler is Principal Director of In Toon Media, a media consultancy company based in Barcelona,Spain. In Toon Media specialises in global health communications, principally HIV/AIDS and related diseases and drug policy. The company also works on environmental media campaigns.

For the past 15 years Michael Kessler has consulted for numerous non-government organisations including  the Australian Thai AIDS Vaccine Consortium,  the Australasian Society for HIV medicine, the Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations, The International AIDS Society, Harm Reduction International  (formerly the International Harm Reduction Association) and the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative.

He has been involved in communications delivery and management at  some 20 international HIV/AIDS and drug related conferences and has also been contracted to  other major other major events suchas the EuroScience Open Forum (2008) and the COP 15 United Nations Climate Change Conference in 2009.

Michael Kessler is an experienced media trainer, strategist, opinion piece writer and speech writer. He speaks English and Spanish fluently and reads French fluently.
